Children at St. Peter's have a number of opportunities for formation. From Sunday mornings to special events, our goal is to make learning the faith fun and interesting. Our activities are always open for appropriately aged children of the community and we encourage our children to in invite a friend.

Sunday Mornings

Regular Events during the School Year

Preschool Story Time

Preschool StorytimePreschool Story Time (PSST) meets on Wednesdays, alternating between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM each week. Usually running in two, ten week sessions, one in the fall and one in the winter/spring, PSST is intended for children who have not yet started kindergarten. Children hear bible stories, sing songs, make a craft, share a snack and enjoy each other’s' company. Often parents organize informal play dates on our playground before or after our sessions. The program usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour.

Summer Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible_School

Each Summer St. Peter's offers a Vacation Bible
School, which is open to the entire community. Children learn Bible stories, important biblical themes, sing songs, make crafts, and play games. We end the week with a short program, so parents, friends and families can hear some of the themes that their children learned during the week as well as enjoy the songs that were sung during the week.

Special Events

Seasonally and for special occasions we offer opportunities for children to grow and explore their faith in unique and exciting ways.

Special Events include:  Christmas Children's Pageant, Christmas Wassail party with St. Nicholas, Children's Stations of the Cross, Easter Egg Hunt and much more.
